GE Panametrics Moisture Analyzers

Aurora TDLAS Hygrometer
GE’s Aurora analyzer uses tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy
(TDLAS) to measure moisture in natural gas rapidly and accurately. The
analyzer is suitable for installation in hazardous areas and operates
over a wide range of environmental conditions. Aurora’s fast response
quickly alerts and documents when moisture concentrations are out of
compliance. Once process upsets are corrected and the gas dries out, the
fast response enables natural gas to be cleared for entry into the
“energy grid.”
GE’s experience in moisture measurement includes aluminum oxide,
polymer capacitance and chilled mirror sensors. GE’s heritage also
includes the development of the first injection diode laser in 1962 by
Dr. Robert Hall in Schenectady, NY. The compact and inexpensive diode
laser made it possible for compact discs, laser printers and fiber optic
telecommunications. The new Aurora TDLAS hygrometer enables natural gas
processing and transportation facilities to monitor moisture content in
real time with high precision and reliability.

Moisture Image Series 1 - Moisture Analyzer
The Moisture Image Series 1 (MIS 1) analyzer is the top-of-the-line
model in GE Panametrics’ family of Moisture Series analyzers. This
multifunction analyzer uses charts, graphs and windows to display any of
six parameters (moisture, oxygen, temperature, pressure and two
auxiliary inputs) for as many as six channels simultaneously on a large,
backlit LCD. Real-time data can also be exported to a PC using the
instrument’s RS232 port and standard or custom software packages.
Combining the MIS 1 analyzer, the MIS probe, and our nondepleting
oxygen cell creates a system capable of measuring as many as six points
each of ambient to trace amounts of moisture and oxygen.
Computer-enhanced response and a true ppbv scale are included for fast
response and maximum resolution and accuracy in extremely low-level
measurement applications.
For added flexibility, the analyzer’s
auxiliary inputs accept measurements from any sensor with current or
voltage output, making the MIS 1 a true multifunction analyzer. Other
features include intrinsic safety for all inputs, isolated analog
outputs, alarm relays and a built-in 24-VDC power supply for current
loops. The instrument is available in rack, bench, panel, weatherproof
and explosion-proof packages

Moisture Monitor Series 3 - Moisture Analyzer
The Moisture Monitor Series 3 Analyzer (MMS 3) analyzer is a single-
or dual-channel analyzer with a two-line, alphanumeric LCD for moisture,
oxygen, temperature and other parameters. It is available as a
battery-powered portable with data logging, making it ideal for spot
sampling and storing data from one or two locations without
reprogramming. It also offers built-in intrinsic safety for all sensor
inputs. The MMS 3 is available in rack, bench, panel, weatherproof and
explosion-proof packages.
A complete MMS 3 system consists of the MMS 3, a moisture probe,
interconnection probe cable and an optional sample system. The MMS 3 can
also use the nondepleting oxygen cell to allow oxygen measurement.

Moisture Monitor Series 35
The Moisture Monitor Series 35 (MMS 35) single-channel hygrometer
combines our technologically advanced M Series moisture probe with
state-of-the-art electronics for superior speed of response, stability
and overall performance.
Measurement range is from ambient to ppb moisture concentrations in a
wide variety of gases. It is available in rack, bench, panel and
weatherproof packages. - click here - to download the MMS35 datasheet |

DewPro MMY2650 - Trace Moisture Analyzer
The MMY 2650 is a moisture analyzer designed to operate with the
General Eastern DY5 or DY55 planar gold aluminum oxide dew point sensor.
The unit offers an optional input that can be used for pressure
compensation, an external temperature probe, or any other sensor this
input can be configured to accept 0 to 5 VDC and 4 to 20mA. The standard
product comes with one current output (0-20 mA or 4-20 mA), a system
alarm relay, and 3 adjustable relays, all with single-pole double-throw
2.5A contacts, selectable failsafe mode, and adjustable hysteresis. One
or two additional current outputs are available.
The Model MMY2650 is available in both wall mount or panel mount
configurations. When used with the DY5 or DY55 Dew Point Probe, the
system is capable of providing dew point readings in the range of -80°C
to +20°C dew point over a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. When used
with approved Zener Barriers the Model MMY 2650 is approved as
intrinsically safe for use in hazardous areas by Cenelec and FM. ATEX
approval pending. - click here - to download the MMY2650 datasheet
